February: Welcoming our Year 5 Josephians
Dear Year 5s,
Welcome to SJI! And to our returning Integrated Programme (IP) students, welcome back! The school year for Year 5 students begins on Wednesday 5 February 2025.
We hope that this will be an enriching and fulfilling year for you as you embark on the two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) at SJI.
Year 5 Orientation will be from Wednesday 5 February 2025 to Tuesday 11 February 2025.
Please report to SJI in your formal secondary school uniform on Wednesday 5 February by 7:20am.
Your Orientation Group Leaders (OGLs) will meet you at the school Foyer/ Canteen.
Do bring along your writing materials and a set of school PE attire.

School Uniform
Year 5 students will have to wear the SJI Year 5/6 formal school uniform for the first time on Tuesday 11 February 2025.
The sale of the SJI school uniform by our uniform vendor, Finest Fashion Centre, will be on Saturday 8 February 2025 in SJI, from 9am to 5pm, according to the schedule indicated below. Please refer to the Finest Uniforms website for details, information and prices.
MN Classes - 9am -11am
ML Classes - 11am -1pm
LE Classes - 1pm - 3pm
FN Classes - 3pm - 5pm
Alternatively, students may purchase their school uniform at the Finest Uniform stores after school (before 8 February). Do note the opening hours of the stores as indicated on their website.
January: SJI OPEN HOUSE (for JC Admission)
Programme Outline (9:00am to 3:00pm)
The Info Talk is conducted by our school leaders. To ensure a smooth experience, please arrive 10 minutes before the talk begins. As seating is limited, entry will close once the lecture theatre reaches full capacity.
School tour: Our student ambassadors will serve as guides on the school tour. The last tour will be at 2.00pm. Please visit the Library to experience the Subject Booths, and then head over to the Indoor Sports Hall to get an overview of CAS in SJI.
